Our Japan Hojicha is made by roasting Kukicha steams and leaves, which tend to have lower caffeine levels. The roasting turns its leaves to a chocolatey brown and reduces the amount of caffeine further, making it ideal to drink in the evening and after meals. Select your favorite Happy Lucky’s loose leaf tea. Follow the specific instructions above and based on the size of your teapot or mug measure your tea into the tea strainer.

Step 2 — Add Hot Water

When water is heated to the desired temperature, start the timer, and pour over the loose leaf tea leaves.

Step 3 — Steep and Enjoy

Some are quick, while others grow finer with time. When ready, remove the tea strainer. Enjoy!

Sip fresh cold brew tea all day without ever using a kettle. Cold brewing is easy and steeps a rich, smooth, and delicious tea with lower astringency.
