Pure Leaf Teas - have caffeine
White, Green, Yellow, Oolong, Black, and Dark (Pu-er) can all 6 types really come from the same plant? Yes! That's what makes our pure leaf tea for sale so exciting. The general steps of withering, oxidation, rolling, firing, drying and sorting are common steps in processing the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant into specialty tea for sale. However it's the specifics of each processing method, some secretive and passed only from family to family, estate to estate, garden to garden, that yield each different tea type. Combine the seasonality of the harvest times throughout the growing year and the pluck (which leaves are carefully picked) to get a myriad of teas with beautiful leaf shapes and colors, and amazing aromas and flavors. Add some fanciful and sometimes hard to pronounce names and welcome to the world of pure leaf tea.
Herbal Teas – no caffeine
Herbal teas are very different from pure leaf teas. Herbs are not tea leaves and therefore are not technically tea. Herbal brews are called tisanes. All the herbal teas for sale at Happy Lucky's are custom proprietary blends that you cannot buy anywhere else. With a preponderance of herbs to choose from we get creative! We employ careful study of traditional, medicinal, and ritual uses of herbs to combine them in interesting ways for the desired flavor and effect. The end result is a wide variety of herbal tea to savor and enjoy.
With so many choices of loose leaf tea, including matcha, green, and oolong, and over 75 herbal teas made from the freshest ingredients we can find, a favorite is waiting for those who choose to explore.
Loose leaf tea is sold by the ounce. If you want more than one ounce, simply increase the number.
