Our loose leaf white tea emulates a beautiful spring morning with its delicate, mild, and subtle flavors. There are two main types of loose leaf white tea: Silver Needle (all buds) and Bai Mu Dan (some buds and leaves).

What is white tea? White tea is the least processed of all teas, made from the young leaves and buds of the Camellia sinensis plant. Named for the delicate white hairs that cover the buds, giving them a silvery appearance. White tea's minimal oxidation preserves the natural character of the leaf, giving it a light, smooth, and subtly sweet flavor.

Classically harvested from new spring growth the leaves are simply plucked, withered, and dried, keeping their silvery appearance and high antioxidant content. The minimal processing of withering and drying keeps the leaves in their natural state. White tea is soft and rich with silvery white down that suggests a honey texture to the brew.

White tea’s understated elegance has earned it a reputation as one of the most refined and healthful teas in the world. Drinking white tea is a mediation in itself.

Loose leaf white tea is sold by the ounce. If you want more than one ounce, simply increase the number.
