Our Organic Loose Leaf Tea collection is a mixture of certified organic pure leaf teas and blends that contain organic ingredients. What’s the difference?

All of our teas and herbs are sourced organically whenever possible. Many of our specialty pure leaf teas are produced by small farmers who can’t afford the organic certification process for their small batches but use organic practices because it yields the best tea. We try to source from them as much as possible because they offer the best quality at the best price. However we don’t label these products organic if they are not certified—even though they really are. 

Larger tea producers that offer certification are what you will find in this collection labeled Organic Tea. However we are not certified organic handlers, so even if it comes to us certified organic we cannot label it certified organic.
