
Benifuuki can be translated to "Red Riches and Honors". This Asamushi (lightly steamed) Sencha was grown at an elevation of around 750 feet, on Gensen Farm in Kagoshima Prefecture's mountain slopes. On the mountain slopes, tea plants receive less daylight, meaning they grow more slowly and are exposed to little stress. Plucked in Spring of 2021, this helped produce an excellent aroma with a familiar grassy flavor and welcomed notes of honeysuckle.
