This cake is from younger trees, and has only aged since 2015. One of the qualities of the shorter fermentation time is tea is a little greener, a little "newer" tasting than older sheng pu-er. The flavors are smooth and light, with hints of vegetal flavor. This cake is recommended for those beginning on a journey to high quality pu-er or for those wishing to age a tea cake for themselves.
